With a thick 3/8″ bracket supporting the load, this bracket can support a couple hundred pounds by itself. Two steel plates are welded together on both sides, creating a strong bond. Hidden Shelf Brackets are able to support an extremely heavy load because the mount six bolts directly into the side of a wall stud. Which bracket would support the heaviest load? More places to anchor to the wall, equals more strength. This means it will cross as many anchor points as possible on the wall. Ideally your bracket should be 2”-4” shorter than your shelf length, as a rule. Various options are available for copper, black, cast iron, PVC and ABS pipes.

The bolt will thread through the space between the bars in your truss and then down through the Unistrut. You should use 1 each “S2TR” set per truss. To attach the Unistrut to your trusses, use the bolt, washer, and nut sets labeled “S2TR”.
For EMT, the required support is within 3 feet of each termination, and a minimum of every 10 feet. Support is required as specified for the conduit – unistrut does not make any difference in the required support spacing. How often does Unistrut need to be supported? With up to 1,200 lbs./pair weight capacity, the l-brackets are very durable made of steel, and they are ideal for 12″ – 24″ deep shelving. How much weight can an L bracket support?
